Shandas ring is absolutely amazing!

Kayle had "true love" inscribed on shandas ring as a surprise.

The ceremony was originally going to be held at St. Pauls United Methodist church but, because their sanctuary was destroyed in the may 22nd tornado the wedding was held at First United Methodist on 4th and byers.

The reception was held at Twin Hills Country Club. A great venue with a wonderful staff and great food.

Aubrey was born two weeks ago to Jay and Sarah. Jay is brother to Angela and Son to Deb! We are in LOVE with her already! What a sweet baby. We cannot wait to watch her grow, get to know her personality, and take many photographs of her as she changes.

Joplin Missouri - Our God is Greater

This first image reflects my mood to the T today. For those of you who may not know..... our city was hit with an F5 tornado not even 4 days ago. The world seems so strange.... like this is all a dream or an out of body experience. However, it wasn't a dream at all! It is all very real. The intense loss of life, the loss of entire neighborhoods and the loss of homes and possessions that took a lifetime to collect. What isn't lost is our sense of partnership and community that just seems to be growing. For images of joplin click here.

Everyone in Joplin and it's surrounding communities has been affected by this tragedy. I personally have spent the last several days helping a friend dig through what used to be her recently remodeled home. A fellow local photographer lost his home as well as countless others. I have no words. only tears, then dry eyes where the tears once were. I have found an outlet for my ever running thoughts. two songs that have spoken powerfully to me.
